Toronto, Ontario — July 6th — Get Reconnected Psychotherapy Services has joined the Fertility Friends Foundation as a 2026-2027 partner.
The partnership will bring educational resources and expert-led conversations to Fertility Friends Foundation’s grant recipients and broader community, helping make trusted fertility support and information more accessible across Canada.
Infertility affects 1 in 6 couples in Canada, and a single IVF cycle costs $15,000 to $25,000. The Fertility Friends Foundation, a registered charity established in 2021, has awarded more than $540,000 across more than 100 grants nationwide and helped bring over 25 babies into the world. Get Reconnected joins a network of more than 50 partners committed to equitable access to parenthood.
Why mental health belongs in fertility care
Fertility treatment carries grief, identity stress, and the strain of repeated medical cycles. Sharing professional knowledge and emotional support helps individuals and couples build resilience. Through this partnership, Get Reconnected contributes fertility-focused mental health education and infertility therapy expertise to the Foundation’s community.

Delia Petrescu owns Get Reconnected, a virtual practice with a team of therapists supporting clients across a wide range of needs. Infertility and perinatal mental health is one of the practice’s specialties, led by Delia and also offered through Fertility With Delia. In October 2025, she presented “The Infertility Maze: Understanding the Trauma Behind It” at the Canadian Fertility Show in Toronto. As part of the 2026 partnership, Get Reconnected will support the Foundation’s national campaign, 25 Hours to Build Dreams, running November 12 to 13, 2026.
